"Come on! Say something! Just this once!"

This is a scene from the beginning of Jak II, obviously, when Dax breaks Jak out of prison. I've seen that part at least a dozen times, and I absolutely love it. Daxter is just so completely cool there, it makes me all kinds of happy. :D I lurve me teh Dax. I figured I'd drawn Jak and I'd drawn Daxter, so now I could chance putting them together in the same picture...and voila! It came out pretty well, I think.

I'd also like to draw the scene where Jak goes Dark for the first time, but I'm not sure I'll ever get around to it. :shrug: I guess we'll wait and see where my inspiration takes me.

Drawn with Prismacolor markers and colored pencils on medium-weight sketch paper.

dude i started Jak II again yesterday for the 5th time :XD: i always loved this scene but when Jak shouts 'im gonna kill praxis!' i could always imagine Dax doing some cute lil' eyes and going 'awww his first words!'

Dude :wow:, this is fantastic! Just seeing this brings back all those happy memories of when I first played Jak 2. God, I love that game :D! Anyways, beautiful work here :)! The colouring is simply amazing! It looks so vibrant and everything blends so nicely ;P. Gotta love the shininess of Jak's hair :giggle:! Splendid job on that :thumbsup:! Oh, and by the way, did I mention that your ottsel style is soooooooo cute! No? Well, it most defintely is! As soon as I saw Dax in this pic I just wanted to grab him and squeeze the air outta him :glomp:. He looks so darn adorable :aww:! And people think my ottsels are cute, they should really check out yours ;)! Anyhow, awesome job on this beaut :clap:! I :heart: style so much! This is one for mah faves! :+fav:

:hug: Thank you so much! It really means a lot to be told that my style for ottsels is okay--that's what I've been most vervous about. I'm not used to drawing anything animal-like--except maybe the occaisonal furry--so to be told my Daxter is okay lets me breathe a sigh of relief! :phew:
