Favie with no commentie make Nashi a sad box of crackerJaks.

Okay, so I'm drawing my own icons for my Jak RP Comm, [Shattered Legacy] in which I play a myriad of characters--including both Razer and Erol. We all know how much I love slashing these two, even though they never meet canonically, so I ended up drawing one picture and splitting it straight down the middle to make a set of interlocking icons instead of drawing two separate pictures.

In any case, I was really happy with how the full picture came out, and it's been a little while since I posted something complete and colored up here... Thus, I bring you slashy crack! Hope you all like it.

Paper: Heavy-weight sketch paper (9"x12")
Pen: 0.5 and 0.2 Micron Sakura
Color: Photoshop CS

RazerxErol is my favorite Jak slash pairing ever. As in, I like it more than Jak/Dax, and I adore that one, when it's done well. Unfortunately I don't think anyone else ships RazErol except ~Weiila, who I blame for getting me interested in the pairing in the first place, and thus it is severely under-represented in the fandom. Weiila's stuff is great, though, and I hope to be putting out some decent stuff soon.

The smoke was made with a specialized brush that I layered with standard color, smudged until it looked all whirly, and then applied a cloud filter to. It sounds complicated, but the main custom brush really did most of the work. ^^;

Thanks very much about my avi! It's actually a miniature version of my Jak icon from the same RP comm as this picture goes to. :giggle: I'm having way too much fun making these things...

... Now about the picture. I really like that smoke. In my (un)professional although observant opinion, it couldn't get anymore realistic. The title of 'realistic' has been earned, Dessy!!
And I totally dig Erol's hair. It looks fruity. I wanna hack it off and see if it tastes kind of like citrus and strawberry. :0

I'm really glad you like the icon, it's my current pride and joy. I've been thinking of uploading the three different pictures that make it up--they're all about a thousand pixels high at full size so I'd be scaling them down, but not nearly so small as my icon--but I'm not actually sure if I will. :paranoid: I was just tired of the Veer one and this one was made for Shattered Legacy--'cause I play Jak an' all, so I needed an icon--and I was just ZOMG THAT CAME OUT REALLY WELL PIMP TEH PIKSHUR NASHISELF! :ohmygod:

And I'm happy the picture here went over so well, too. I don't think Erol's hair is edible, though, and if you tried Razer's more'n likely to whip his butterfly knife out on you and growl, "NO EATING MY MAN, HUMAN GIRL."

Uhh...yeah. I swear this makes sense. Somehow. ^^;
