Finished reading Lady Rose's Legend of Zelda: Reconciliation last night. Really hoping she updates it again someday, but I understand where she's coming from.

On that vein, I do have an iron in the fire as far as fanfiction goes. No, it's not something any of you have heard more than half a word about, but I do hope to get it done eventually. Still working on the outline, though. And no, it's not Jak-related.

Don't get me wrong, I still love the Jak fandom and I'd like to say I'm never ever going to leave, but with the new game coming out I'm sitting on my hands with most things until we get more information. I thought Jak X was crap, after all, although it did result in my favorite character, and my second-favorite characterization of Jak in the entire series. (Jaded but not broken, I approve of character development!)

I have a feeling that the love-hate relationship with The Lost Frontier will be just as bad, if not worse than the one I have with Jak X. (Love: Keira's new character design. Hate: The fact that she looks five to ten years older than her boyfriend. Et cetera.)

Anywho. I'm really just bringing this up to let everyone know that even though lately I'm more active in the Zelda fandom--and my current iron is Zelda-related, in case you couldn't guess--that doesn't mean I've gone anywhere. I've clung to the Jak fandom through too much to jump off just before we get something new, especially just because I happen to be playing other games more lately. (I'm trying to beat my personal record for total gameplay time on Twilight Princess. No I'm not sharing this record, I know it's horribly bad. I'm trying to beat it anyway.)


I want to cut my hair. I haven't cut it in over a year, and even then it was just really a trim, but I want to chop it short sooooo baaaaad. Right now it's almsot down to my waist, all long and annoying and hard to keep up sdlkgjsdlgsdg BUT. I have reasons for keeping it long. And I don't know if I actually want it short again, or if this is just a couple random spur-of-the-moment things.

Even though they've been going on for about a week and a half now.

I don't knooooow.

I also want to make some more stamps but I've nothing to stamp about right now, woe.

I think, however, that instead of cutting my hair off with a pair of poultry shears or making stamps for no reason, I will go attempt to draw a better version of Beast Sir, because MAKERS I love the fic it comes from and it deserves SO MUCH MORE PUBLICITY.

Also ALSO, RPing via text messages is an interesting experience and I think everyone should do it at least once.
